Christie McGee serves as the Director of Family Faith Formation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson, where she oversees formation for families with children from birth through eighth grade and sacramental preparation for Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. With more than a decade of parish ministry experience, she has served in Adult Formation, Children’s Formation, and Children & Family Ministry. Christie is passionate about creating opportunities for families to encounter Christ through relationship, wonder, and authentic participation in the life of the Church. She holds a Director of Religious Education certificate through the Diocese of Austin’s Catechetical Leadership Program and recently completed the University of Notre Dame’s Contours of Wonder Leadership Cohort through the McGrath Institute for Church Life. She is also a volunteer contributing author for Catholic-Link. Christie and her husband, Jamie, have been married for 29 years and are the parents of two grown children and proud grandparents to their first grandson.
