Carmen Fernandez serves as the Associate Director of Family Faith Formation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson. After several years in the corporate world, she felt God’s call to leave her career and serve the Church full time. Beginning as a catechist, Carmen has served in Catholic faith formation for several years and is passionate about evangelization and accompanying families on their faith journey. She especially enjoys helping parents and children encounter Christ and discover the joy of living the Catholic faith together. Carmen and her husband, Gabriel, have been married for 13 years and are the proud parents of their daughter Mia. Her experience as a wife and mother deepens her understanding of both the joys and challenges of nurturing faith within family life.
