Dr. Rendon is a theologian with extensive experience in Catholic Social Teaching, spirituality, diaconate and seminary formation. He is the Director of Catholic Social Ministries in the Diocese of Dallas since 2023. In this position, he oversees diocesan missions and the Pontifical Mission Societies; he also works to develop, implement, and assess a continuum of ministries that address the needs of the sick, poor, marginalized, and vulnerable, while promoting respect for human dignity and the family. He is an adjunct professor of spirituality, theology and pastoral studies at University of St. Thomas, the Mexican American Catholic College and Permanent Diaconate Formation at St. Meinrad School of Theology. He earned a doctorate in Spirituality from The Catholic University of America, lives in Allen and is married to Anna and has five children.
